1. Minimum Educational Qualification:
A) Under-Graduate Teacher (for ClassesI-V):
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education(or one year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).
OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE(Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (or one year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05).
OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of
Elementary Education (B. EI. Ed.).
OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education
(Special Education).
OR
• Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05)(by whatever name known).
OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (Relaxed Qualification as per
MHRD Notification, Dated: 04.01.2019).
OR
• Graduation (Relaxed Qualification as per MHRD Notification, Dated: 04.01.2019).
AND
PassedTripura-Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET)Paper-I and obtained certificate issued by TRBT.
NB: NCTE notification dated 23rd August. 2010 mentioned in Para-3, for Sub-Para(a) the following Sub-Para shall be substituted namely :- “who acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any recognised institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I-V provided the person, so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month bridge course in Elementary Education from an Institution recognised by NCTEwithin two years of such appointment as primary teacher.”
B) Graduate Teacher(for Class V!-VIII) :
• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).
OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education {B.Ed.}.
OR
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE(Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this
regard.
OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor in
Elementary Education (B. EL Ed.).
OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A. I B. Sc. Ed or
BA Ed / B. Sc. Ed.
OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) (Special Education).
OR
• Graduation (Relaxed Qualification as per MHRD Notification, Dated: 04.01.2019).
AND
Passed Tripura-Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-II and obtained certificate issued by TRBT.
Note: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH category.
In the matter of appointment priority will be given to those eligible candidates who possess the minimum qualification specified in the NCTE’s notification dated 23rd August, 2010 as amended from time to time and only thereafter, eligible candidates with relaxed qualification specified in
MHRD notification dated a” January 2019 ~ill be considered. Candidates appointed with relaxed
qualification shall acquire the minimum academic and professional qualifications laid down in the NCTE’snotification dated 23rd August, 2010 as amended from time to time within a period of two years and till they acquire the minimum qualifications as per the NCTEnotification, the teachers so appointed under relaxed norms shall be treated as ‘trainee teachers’.
2..Age: Up to 40 years as on 10.03.2021. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PHand Government Servant provided that Government Servants belonging to SC/ST/PHcategory shall not get relaxation over and above general relaxation of 5 years available to them. Upper age limit is also relaxable for Ex-Serviceman(ESM) as per norm.
NB: (i) Permissible age relaxation will be appiicable for cand.dates from discharged ad-hoc 10,323 teachers as per memo of GA(P&T} dated 05.11.2020. (Candidates belonging to this category must click yes in the relevant point of online application to get the benefit)
(ii) Candidates having T-TET pass certificates and exceeded the upper age limit can also apply online. However, for such T-TET qualified candidates whose age exceeds the prescribed upper age limit, appointment for them will be subject to the approval of the Department.
3. Pay; A) Under-Graduate Teacher(for Class I-V) :Rs. 16,050/- (Revised) fixed per month being 75%
of the basic pay as per Level-7 ofTripura State Pay Matrix 2018.
B}Graduate TeacherCfor Class VI-VIII) :Pay: Rs. 20,475/-(revised} fixed per month being 75
% of basic pay as per Level-9 of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018.
4. Procedure for Online Submission of Application:
Online Application can be submitted by logging on to the official website of Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura www.trb.tripura.gov ..in. While applving online the candidate must ensure that she/he understands and fulfils the norms of eligibility. Follow the steps below:
(a) Log on to TRBT’sofficial website www.trb.tripu~ and click on ‘Apply Online’ link.
(b) Candidates already registered for T-TET2019 need not register again. They can login by entering the Registration and Password. Pleaseensure all information entered by you is correct. If there is any wrong information, please edit it or register afresh.
(c) To register afresh, Candidates are to enter the required information such as name, OOB,email
10, Phone Number etc., and get themselves registered. Note down the Registration Number for future reference.
(d) For registration, e-mail 10 must be unique. Once registered, login with Registration Number/E
mail ID and password as set by you. For security reason do not share the password with others. (e) After login update your profile by entering all relevant information as per the online application
form correctly.
(f) Upload clear image of your recent passport size photograph (as enumerated in ‘How to apply’ section in the registration page) and ~ull signature. The-image of photograph must be clear enough so that the applicant can be recognised by seeing the photograph. The image of full signature must also be clear and legible. Any discrepancy in image of photograph and full signature will lead to rejection of the online application. Uploading of any unwanted photograph will be viewed seriously and strict action will be taken against t~em who indulge in such activity.

(g) Candidate can update certain information given in the profile from edit/update profile link before submission of online application. Online application once submitted the link will be disabled. No edit in profile can be done afterwards.
(h] Candidate can apply for Under Graduate Teacher and/or Graduate Teacher (classesVI-VIII) from
‘Apply Online’ link.of candidate’s hornepage.
(i) Those who are applying with the Registration Number of T-TET2019, their information will be fetched from the system. Any wrong information may be edited. If edit is not possible, please register afresh and enter all data correctly.
(j) Login and go to candidates ‘Home Page’
(k) In candidate’s homepage, for Under Graduate Teacher please click on “Apply Online” link with respect to “Selection to the Post of Under Graduate Teacher-for ClassI-V Session2021” and for Graduate Teacher (classesVI-VIII) PleaseClick on “Apply Online” link with respect to “Selection to the Post of Graduate Teacher-for ClassVI-VIII- Session2021”.
(I) Select eligibility criteria from drop down list. All particulars regarding academic and professional qualifications must be entered correctly.
(m) Submit the form after entering all the information correctly. Finalize the application if all information is entered correctly. If any rectification is required click on “Edit Application” link in candidate’s homepage. Once finalised, the application form can no more be edited. So before finalization make sure that all information entered are correct.
(n) Make payment from the link provided in the home page of applicant. Payment can be done
through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking facility of any leading bank. Information/PIN/Password etc., of Credit Card/ Debit Card! Internet Banking must not be shared with others for making payment and iRBT will not be responsible for any fraudulent transaction due to such information sharing.
(0) Payment of fee must be paid through the link provided in applicant’s home page and by no
other means.
(p) After successful payment print the online Application Acknowledgement and Payment Receipt.
Preserve online Application Acknowledgement and Payment Receipt for future reference. Payment related disputes will not be entertained without Application Acknowledgement and Payment Receipt.
(q) Candidates having their mark in CGPA,click on “check if CGPAis applicable” and enter exact
equivalent percent of CGPA.Convert CGPAin exact equivatent percentage (as per formula given by the University! Board) up to two decimal points and enter it in the appropriate box in the online application form. For example if the equivalent percentage of CGPAup to 2 decimal point is “59.99” enter “59.99” not “60”.
(r) In case candidates are applying with Senior Secondary as academic qualification and do not
possess Graduation, please leave the qualificaticn detail in the online application format with respect to Graduation.
(s) In case candidates are applying with relaxed criteria that is, Senior Secondary/Graduation (as applicable), leave the professional qualifications section. Submit the application by entering all other required information correctly.
(t) Piease read the “How to apply” section in the registration page before proceeding for registration.
(u) “Forgot Password” link can be used to reset password in case the candidate forgets her/his password.
(v) Online Application can be submitted by logging on to the official website of Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura, www.trb.tripura.gov.in and by no other means.
(w) Those candidates who were appointed as Ad-hoc teachers (10,323) as per verdict of Hon’ble Supreme Court and later on discharged may choose ‘Yes’ in the relevant field of online application form and others can choose ‘No’ or those who has been granted age relaxation as per verdict of Hon’ble High Court may choose ‘Yes’ in the relevant field of online application form and others can choose
